Does the Epic Pure filter remove the same contaminants as the Smart Shield filter?Updated 2 years ago

While they do remove a lot of the same contaminants, they don't remove all the same ones. There are a few main differences.

For instance, the Smart Shield filter removes E. coli and other bacteria whereas our Pure filter will not.

Our Smart Shield filter is not designed to remove fluoride whereas our Pure filter is the most effective at removing it.

They are both great options, so it depends on which contaminants matter most to you. We recommend choosing a few that you are concerned with and comparing both test results to see which filter best works for your needs.
