How do I know when to replace my filter?Updated 2 years ago
Many times, the filter will typically either slow down or completely clog once it's reached the end of it's life. That being said, a new filter will always work better than an old one. So, we recommend replacing it every 3-4 months depending on how much you use it, for our bottle and pitcher filters. They are both good for 150 gallons.
The bottom reservoir in our pitcher which holds the filtered water holds about half a gallon of water, so say you are filling up your pitcher twice a day, then the filter is good for 150 days.
Our home filtration lasts longer, so our Sediment filter and Smart Shield Filter last about a year, so with every new, considering starting it fresh with a filter renewal! Our Fridge filter lasts even longer, we recommend changing that out every 2 years.
