That's a great question.

Our filters don't contain anything in their media that is meant to alter the pH of water. It may slightly alter the pH depending on how the filter interacts with your water, but it's certainly not designed to alkalize water. If you're interested in more alkaline water, we recommend getting some alkalizing drops to add to your water after it's been filtered.
