What size hole do I need to put in my sink for the dedicated faucet?

If using an existing cutout in sink, it must be a minimum of 7/8" diameter and no larger than 1-1/8" diameter hole. If additional cutout is required, a 7/8" diameter hole is preferred.

No, unfortunately not... the flow rate on this filter is rated at 1.25 gallons per minute. This is sufficient for a kitchen sink, but not for an entire house.

How much water needs to be flushed through new filter before drinking?

You will need to flush cold water through the filter for 5 minutes before using.

Does this filter remove Trihalomethanes from the water? Also, what about lead?

Do I have to drill any holes?

You actually don't have to drill any holes at all. The bracket is secured with just two screws that go into the wall underneath your kitchen sink. Velcro can be used in place of the screws if you prefer.

If I want to attach the Epic Smart Shield to a stand alone faucet, can I do it and how?

Does it filter both the hot and cold water tap?

The Epic Smart Shield only filters the cold water line of your faucet. The activated carbon filter inside your Epic Smart Shield isn't designed to withstand hot temperatures.

What is the filter micron size for the Epic Smart Shield filter?
